OCean Climate Lab Fund
The Ocean Climate Lab supports a bright community of scholars at UC Davis who are tackling some of today’s most pressing environmental challenges. Led by Professor Tessa Hill, the lab is known for its collaborative approach: students and scientists work side-by-side with agency partners, nonprofits, and coastal communities to advance research that matters both scientifically and socially. This fund helps sustain that mission by providing direct support for student research, internships, and professional development. By covering essentials like travel to field sites, conference participation, science communication training, student internships, and community engagement, lab members can engage with their work and their communities in meaningful and novel ways. Every contribution makes a tangible difference, fueling the creativity and collaboration needed to protect our ocean, our climate, and our shared future.
This research program supports early career scientists - undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates - typically supporting 5-10 students or early career researchers each year.
